Regional Conference Policies

Attendee Responsibility

All conference attendees agree to comply with all rules and conditions of the University Risk Management and Insurance Association (URMIA). This includes adherence to general standards of professional conduct in URMIA’s Event Safety & Responsibility Policy.

Registrants may not send bulk e-mail or mass solicitations to URMIA conference attendees.

You will be asked to check a box stating “I have read and agree to these policies" during the registration process.

Payment

Online registration requires immediate payment. You will be prompted to pay by credit card or electronic check. Alternately, contact the URMIA National Office and request to be registered and invoiced.

Substitutions

Registration substitutions are allowed prior to the beginning of the conference. Send the name of the registrant and substitute attendee's name and contact information to the URMIA National Office.

Cancellations

Cancellations and requests for registration fee refunds must be received in writing and are subject to a $50 administrative fee. Requests received after the end of a conference's early-bird registration period are void and the registrant will forfeit all registration fees. Please allow 30 days following the conference for all refund processing.

If URMIA must cancel this conference for any reason, liability is limited to the registration fees paid only. URMIA is not responsible for other expenses incurred, including travel and accommodation fees. Payments to URMIA are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes.

Accessibility Requests

We will do our best to accommodate persons with disabilities by ensuring access to all association-sponsored educational programs and social activities. If you have special needs, please contact URMIA as soon as you can. Also, please enter your needs in the appropriate box during online registration.
