URMIA Awards

Each year, the University Risk Management and Insurance Association celebrates outstanding individuals and achievements that have enhanced the higher education risk management community through the presentation of several awards.

These awards highlight the URMIA members who continually go above and beyond in living our mission, vision, and values. The recipients are nominated by their peers and chosen by a selection committee. Some of these awards are named after influential URMIA members who have shaped the association's trajectory, like Larry V. Stephens and Jenny Whittington. These awardees represent the very best of URMIA.
