URMIA Empowers Risk Managers

URMIA provides many workforce development and training opportunities that help you up-skill staff and advance your own career. Mitigating risk is always less expensive than an incident or a claim - whether you are an on-campus professional or someone who supports higher education risk management. 

URMIA offers several educational sessions in-person at our annual conference, as well as at our intensive training programs, URMIAinstitutes, launching first quarter of 2026, that bring content-specific education provided for higher ed risk professionals by higher ed risk experts that can help you reduce exposure and manage organizational risks. Consider engaging with your colleagues, as membership is not required to attend any of our training events.
