Attire

We recommend business casual attire for the conference and, because hotel meeting spaces can sometimes be chilly, a sweater or light jacket. Please check the Boston forecast shortly before your arrival for outdoor conditions, which can vary widely in September. You can check out how attendees at previous conferences dressed on our Flickr account.

Opening Reception

We are suggesting two options this year, to compliment the casino themed event we suggest 1970's casino wear or our traditional dress. The other option is the URMIA tradition of wearing one’s past or present school spirit clothing to the Opening Reception. Our business partner “affiliate” members are also welcome to wear logowear.

Evening with the Kennedys

We encourage attendees to ramp up the fun and “dress like a Kennedy” for the Evening with the Kennedys. Watch for ideas we’ll be sharing.

Shuttles

There are no airport transfers or shuttles between hotels. There will be shuttles for select offsite activities. See our Transportation page.
