Regional Conference Registration
Register online or call the URMIA National Office 812-855-6683. You may use a credit card or request to be invoiced. Payment must be received in advance of the conference. Registration includes breakfast, lunch, and materials. To apply or nominate an URMIA member for one of three $500 regional conference scholarships, visit the URMIA scholarship application web page.
2010 Regional Meetings
The Professional Development Committee is planning four regional meetings in 2010. We may also offer webcasts or other training opportunities depending on the needs of the membership. The regional meetings offer the benefit of a condensed conference that is affordable and a little closer to home. Regional meetings are one or one and a half days in duration.
The Professional Development Committee is also working on a long-range strategy to book regional locations. We will be moving regional meetings around the country to reach out to our entire membership. If you are interested in hosting or chairing a regional meeting in your area within the next three years, please email Jenny Whittington. It is a great opportunity to get involved and you will have plenty of help from the Professional Development Committee and the National Office.

In an effort to bring high-quality, cutting edge educational programming to URMIA’s members across the United States, we will continue our expanded regional conference schedule in 2010. We would like to take this opportunity to ask for your sponsorship of URMIA’s regional conferences. In difficult economic times, your support of URMIA means more than ever. The conferences depend on your generous support—support that ultimately allows us to bring our members together, provide information sharing opportunities, and advance the profession of higher education risk management at an affordable price.
Information about Regional Sponsorships: Regional conference sponsorships are available for $1,500. To sponsor the 2010 Regional Conferences, please contact Executive Director Jenny Whittington or the URMIA National Office at 812-855-6683. Sponsors receive acknowledgement in the registration brochure and handouts, during the event, and on listserv announcements. Sponsors also receive acknowledgement on the website and a copy of the participant list. NOTE: The printing deadline for each conference is approximately 10 weeks before the event; sign up to be a sponsor today to make sure you are featured in all conference materials!
